Robin Wallis comes from a long line of nurserymen, and has spent his entire working life in nursery and garden centre management, starting as a trainee in the early 1980’s and working his way up to Garden Centre manager by the late 1980s. In 1990 he was a founding partner and director of a successful landscaping business which achieved turnover of £2m, won a gold medal at the Chelsea flower show and is still trading successfully today although Robin moved on after 5 years. In his most recent role, like Mark he has supplied high quality plants to top garden designers as well as more mainstream landscapers and other garden centres. He too has superb knowledge of plant sourcing, propagation and growing, and is also an expert in the systems and processes used to manage garden centres and plant catalogues.
Robin’s role together with Mark will be the selection and choosing of the thousands of varieties of plants that will be grown and supplied to clients.
