Mark Straver

Mark Straver comes from a long line of nurserymen and has set up successful horticultural businesses from scratch: The first, when he was only 19 was a retail plant centre which traded profitably for 5 years until the site was sold; the second, a plant centre and landscaping business founded jointly with a business partner is still trading today, although Mark sold his share after 10 years.

Mark is one of a small number of plantsmen in the world with the knowledge and contacts to source wholesale plants. As a result, he is extremely well connected to high end garden designers, growers and other horticultural suppliers, as well as PR professionals, journalists and the luminaries of the gardening world.

Mark’s role will be to lead the business jointly with Robin focussing particularly on customer and supplier relationships.
